Translucent ruby in color with aromas of bright Bing cherry, fresh raspberry and strawberry, and lovely herbaceous notes, and flavors of cherry, pomegranate, cranberry, licorice, dried violet and damp soil. Pairs well with grilled chicken, delicate poached salmon, earthy roasted mushrooms, and brie cheese

Dark garnet in the glass with a bright ruby rim. On the nose wet river bed, wet eucalyptus bark and tobacco wrapper. While the black and purple fruit integrity on the wine is strong, it certainly does not take center stage as the more tertiary and secondary tones occupy the forefront of the glass. This wine is meant to age and will do so gracefully. The tannins are evident and have extreme structural integrity with a solid backbone of acid. While this wine is drinking nicely now, I expect it will start to shine in 3 + years and can age over the next couple of decades.
